Man sought after coming girl, charity float in Edgewater

EDGEWATER, Fla. – Edgewater military are looking for a male who approached an 11-year-old girl and offering her a float while she was walking home from school. 

The occurrence occurred Tuesday around 2:15 p.m. nearby 26th Street.

Police pronounced a lady was walking home from Indian River Elementary School when a white Chevrolet Traverse stopped nearby her. A male got out of a car and asked if he could give a lady a ride, military said.

The lady refused to go with a man, who gathering easterly on 26th Street, military said.

The male was described by military as white, with a slim build, brownish-red hair, a brownish-red brave and a freckle or specifying symbol on his left cheek.

He was pushing a newer-model white Traverse that has black frame along a newcomer doors.

Edgewater military pronounced additional patrols will be in a area.
