To a Editor:

What’s Stalling Electric Cars?” (Business Day, Dec. 19) identifies roadblocks to carrying some-more electric vehicles on a roads, including a need for some-more and improved battery-charging stations. But it does not embody one essential obstacle: a electric appetite for those stations.

Converting all American vehicles would need a doubling of American electric production. And we need to charge that all new and deputy appetite come only from renewable sources.
